Kate Daniel (Vocals) - Kate was discovered by her choir director in 4th grade. In high school and college she performed in musicals, various choirs and a Capella vocal ensembles. Although an early fan of the Beatles, Doobie Brothers and Crosby, Stills & Nash, it was not until the 1980s that she was recruited into the world of rock and roll by her husband (Chris). She has been playing in rock bands ever since.
Chris Daniel (Bass and Vocals) - Chris started out on guitar at the age of 15 and grew up on the riffs of Eric Clapton, Eddie Van Halen and Angus Young. He studied guitar at the Musicians Institute's in Hollywood, CA in 1983. In 2004, while a member of Kelley and the Beachcombers, he switched to bass and has been keeping the groove ever since. He studied bass with three time Grammy nominee Dennis Murphy.
Rick Pieper (Drums) - Rick, a lifelong resident of the Monterey Peninsula, started playing the local club scene in the late 1970s. He has played in some of the area's best known bands. As a founding member of Firefly he is one of the driving forces behind the band.
Chris Stine (Guitar and Vocals) - Chris is originally from Long Island, NY, and has been playing in rock bands since the 1970s - most recently with Blues Berry Jam, Phat Chants, and Black Water Station. His primary influences are The Allman Brothers Band, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Jimmy Page. He joined Firefly in 2010.
Bob Aguilar (Keyboards and Vocals has been playing piano and keyboards for over 40 years and holds a Master’s in orchestral conducting. His influences include Jon Lord, Keith Emerson, Steve Walsh and Santana to name a few. Bob’s bands (in L.A.) are credited with opening or playing with The Alan Parson’s project, Tierra, Eddie Van Halen, Tower of Power and has enjoyed performing in L.A. venues such as The Roxie, The Troubadour, the Whisky a Go Go. Bob joined Firefly in 2015.
